Spiritual Freedom?
« on: November 01, 2009, 11:25:11 AM »
What does spiritual freedom feels like. Is there a relation between your Prayer session and it? I think one has to focus a lot on his prayer to get a real state of his spiritual freedom. What are your views?

Spiritual freedom and prayer are like a way to a room. Prayer is a way to go into a room.So when you pray,you'll no the way to get into a room where you can really have freedom and joy.

Some of us would like to portray spiritual freedom as only a call to give up something, but it's more of a call to gain something greater than that. God wants us to experience the play and exuberance of spiritual freedom.

Religious freedom would be Spirituality,
and Spiritual freedom would be ecstasy;

In that state, we give up everything and yet get everything;

The problem isn't that we're seeking too much pleasure but that we're settling for too little. We're so infatuated with our little mud pies in the sandbox that we can't see the vast oceans and continents God would have us explore. It is just an example to show what I mean to say about spiritual freedom.

One needs to use prayer as a tool to moves in temple of his spiritual freedom. The spiritual part of prayer lies in recognising that it is divine. Prayer is the simplest way to reach God within you and it also provides you strength to fight with difficulties.

Although we have achieved freedom but still people are not free because they don't have spiritual freedom. so to achieve the complete freedom one have to achieve freedom of mind

I think the act of praying shows freedom to be feel the presence and talk to the creator. Specially if the prayer is deep and whole heatedly executed. Prayer is very effective achieving spiritual freedom.

We are only bound by the shackles we create for ourselves. If we place more importance on material objects and treat relationships superficially, we bound by them. By praying, we acknowledge that there is more to gain from this world than money and material objects. This belief, that we are not bound by the material objects around us, is what truly allows us to be spiritually free.
We are each of us angels with only one wing, and we can only fly by embracing one another.  ~Luciano de Crescenzo
